RELIGION PHILOSOPHY As a Catholic institution, Archbishop Carroll's Department of Religious Studies creates a community of faith founded on scripture and church teachings. Carroll provides opportunities for positive learning experiences that challenge the students' minds and hearts within a multicultural environment. The Department of Religious Studies fosters an atmosphere that promulgates witnessing to Christ. In addition, it strives to participate fully in the Church's prayer and liturgical life. The hallmarks of our programs, "to teach as Jesus did," are hope, prayer, community, and service. These hallmarks allow a deepening of faith, a renewal of spirit, and an understanding of Christian leadership in society.
