Food Drive 2007 Photo Gallery, Page One
On the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, our community met in a prayer service to celebrate the successful end to this year’s Food Drive. A number of groups and individuals were singled out for praise: on their respective class service days, the Sophomores collected 4370 pounds of food; the Seniors, 4670 pounds; and the Juniors, 9749 pounds. The African Art class contributed 1799 pounds, and two members of the senior class led the entire student body: Ronald Williams with 1214 pounds and Kim Blocker with 877 pounds. The final total for Food Drive 2007 was 44,717 pounds, which helped more than 150 families and helped stock many area food banks, truly a tribute to the hard work of the entire Carroll community!
